ECCENTRIC FACE MASKS VS. COVID-19

We’ve been in quarantine for about two months now, with many states imposing laws that citizens need to be wearing face coverings over their nose and mouth. Some people have been getting pretty creative with what they cover their faces with, but here we’re going to find the weirdest masks made by companies.

First, let’s start with Fashion Nova. The popular brand is joining other clothing companies is making fashionable face masks for their customers. I’m only sharing three of the many masks they have available online, but they have many interesting choices.

The cult of people who love Hennessey is REAL.

Need I say more?

Okay I’ve honestly seen some cute denim masks on the market but this is TOO denim-y for me.

Isn’t the point of a face mask so you don’t kiss someone?

Next, we have masks from the French designer Marine Serre. These masks were worn by models at the designers’ recent runway show in February. This first one actually looks pretty cozy and might be a trendsetter if we end up wearing masks into the winter.

This one honestly creeps me out even though the embroidery looks beautiful. The placement of the flowers on the eyes (so the model can see of course) just looks to be something out of a horror film.

Reminds me of another white mask wearing American group, you know?

After all of this, let me give you a list of retailers that are selling face masks. Although fabric masks aren’t the most effective against the virus, they still offer us protection and should be worn in public settings.

  3. Anthropologie
  4. Old Navy
  5. Outdoor Voices
  6. Etsy
  7. Athleta

At the end of the day, at least companies are providing consumers with masks of all price ranges so they can be accessible to people from all income levels.
